Oscu visited me today

This week has been just one big event for me! Tonight I had another visitor come to eat - Oscu (He's the one on the right).
I made us lamb for dinner, which is a co-incidence as my Mum and Dad also served lamb for Oscu's Mum and Dad - Aija and Tom.

A lovely evening was had by all (except the lambs - they probably didn't like being eaten very much).

Alma is my very good neighbour and best girlfriend.

This evening she came around for dinner and a chat - we had a great time, discussing the latest episodes of Salamat Elamat and her plans for the weekend.

Alma's Mum and Dad are in Vienna today - coming back this evening. Have to dash now, the kettle's boiling

Kylli is my Grandmother and I love visiting her place. Nice and safe and warm and lots to eat. Everyone seems to complain of overeating when we visit Kylli but I don't see anyone leaving any food for me!

Call me old fashioned but sometimes I need my privacy. My Mum insists on washing off all those lovely perfumes that I spend so long finding

My boyfriend

This is Paavo, my boyfriend. We have known each other (but not in the biblical sense) for over 20 dog years, so we are very good friends!

Hide and seek

One of the benefits of having black hair in Finland in the winter - nowadays when there is no snow at least - is that I blend in nicely with the background - give me lots of opportunity to find things that my Mum and Dad can't smell - which brings me onto another subject - how come humans have such a terrible sense of smell? Most of the time they can't even smell each other - which is amazing because they stink - decidedly human - especially DAD. Anyway, tonight I almost missed this "treasure" when running home - had to run back for it...

My evening is complete

Had a great walk this evening - off the lead (the only way) - found some really lovely, scrumptious, snack that had to study, sniff, taste, bury - all the while my Mum and Dad yelling to me, whistling calling "where are you?" - pitiful really.

And then - to really cap off the evening I had to bark off at some guy who dared to walk on the same street as me - because he had a BIG RED BAG!

Some people have no sense of humour - met this swan today while in the city - there is was "swanning" around - all I wanted to do was pop into the water and swim alongside - no chance!

Cold day - but then I guess ice skating isn't something you can do in Sydney - have to ask my young brother Thomas about that...

Grand Marina Hotel

This is a nice spot to get out of the cold and have a nice cup of got chocolate. Interesting I cannot understand what anyone is saying here- even the dogs are Russian.

On the train

I can hear another dog somewhere here. I wonder if we will get a chance to meet and sniff each other's bums?
